GSP has signed an offshore drilling services agreement with Trillion Energy International for the 2022 – 2023 drilling program on the South Akcakoca Sub-Basin (SASB) gas field.
The SASB gas field encompasses a total license area of 12,385ha, being one of the biggest natural gas production and development projects located in the Black Sea, offshore Turkey.
Scope of work comprises drilling of 5 wells from existing wellhead production platforms, using the GSP Uranus jack up rig.
GSP Uranus is a three-legged, self-evelating unit, cantilever type, Marathon Le Tourneau Class 116-C design drilling rig, maximum water depth up to 100 m and 7.600 m maximum drilling depth.
